WOLF

Release Year: 2011
Artist Origin: SWE
Style: catchy straightforward energetic heavy metal

sixth full-length by Scandinavian heavy metal crew is masterfully refined and exceptionally organic-sounding, coming out swinging with Niklas' sharp, expressive vocals, choruses scorching the listener's eardrums, blood-pumping classic guitar riffs and piercing solos, with driving momentum sustained by the undying tradition of Judas Priest, teleported into the twenty first century, where foundational energy meets modern dynamics and speed, at times recalling Enforcer while maintaining Wolf's own steel-forged musical formula - it stands as the record that most strongly reflects the spirit of the old school, hammering forward with a simple yet confident stride, saving slightly more epic K-141 Kursk for the finale, enriching the sound with dramatic accents and darker atmosphere
