Artist Origin: NOR
Style: epic monumental folk black metal

unfortunately, these are eight final tracks, recorded by Valfar along his fellow musicians, turning into a real collective by that time, who tragically passed away in January 2004 - Likferd literally means burial in the sogndal dialect, and that was quite fateful metaphor indeed, also depicted on the front cover - anyway, the farewell longplay [2003] is another classic in viking folk black metal with a darker atmosphere and more aggressive attitude, sending tasteful, subtle yet ferocious sound waves, never overshadowing the overall epic concept; good to note that such timeless music demands - and eventually keeps receiving full attention from the listener; highly anticipated, gatefold sleeve double silver green-marbled vinyl edition with pro-printed lyric inner sleeves is limited to 750 units
