eight years since the last full album, this third installment sees Colorado's trio weaving a radiant crucible on the oblivion horizon, conjuring the reflection of infinite aether within the fractal self as the indomitable Scion of Aether, carrying forward trademark oppressive Rocky Mountain dirge yet maturing confidently into new sonic territory: laden with cascading dynamics, deft build-ups in texture and progression, six track opus traverses emotive soundscapes and detonates into engulfing heaviness, while its transitions and seamless interplay of instrumentation is a testament to their distinct creative voice and evolving mastery of atmosphere and extremity, culminating in an awe-inspiring odyssey of transcendence, weight, and eternal rebirth; deluxe German gatefold digisleeve edition comes with metallic copper ink on cover and twelve page booklet
