Björn "Aldrahn" Dencker has dominated the Norwegian black metal evolution of the nineties, first of all making fame at the mic of Dødheimsgard and Zyklon-B, eventually heading towards much more experimental branch of the genre, so this recent comeback to traditional, rougher, yet intricate enough and nonconformist black with a new project [2017] is as much surprising as pleasing the ear, moreover that an authentic spirit of the genre is triumphantly resurrected, and the trademark strident, ferocious voice of the frontman is most recognizable, backed up by innovative, engaging instrumental base, open for experiments, while therapeutic effect of music is directly transmitted to listener; recent Finnish gatefold sleeve gold black-splattered vinyl edition with a pro-printed lyric booklet is limited to 500 units
