Style: intense harmonious blackened death metal
Luleå five-piece was one of those mid-nineties Swedish bands who played catchy and harmonious blackened death metal with a fiery atmosphere which was as important as technical delivery - first thought is Dissection, but there actually were more high rated bands like Dawn, Sacramentum and The Moaning; their only longplay [1997], featuring bass player Niklas Svensson, also from Gates of Ishtar and Throne of Ahaz, is more straightforward than all those other bands, maintaining intense dynamics and infernal feeling of music nonetheless, but marked by distinctive cold sound, gloomy harmonies, and uncompromising fury, which give this recording a memorable character and secure it a special place in the pantheon of Swedish underground; recent French re-issue comes with authentic cover artwork by Kristian "Necrolord" Wåhlin, additional four songs from 1994's promo tape, new liner notes and revised layout
