loud metallic rock megastars from cold Helsinki on the verge of millennium have occurred at the culmination of gothic era [2002], continuing to write mesmerizing, beautiful, aesthetic and perfect odes to romantic pessimism, full of nocturnal glow and cold fatalism, where darkness and light intertwine perfectly - melodic guitar riffs blend with gentle keyboard motifs, creating a seductive, nostalgic atmosphere, the rhythm maintains a hypnotic tempo, giving songs a sense of slow-burning passion, while the balanced production highlights each instrument's place within the whole, proving their ability to craft music that sounds elegant, enchanting, and alive, like a love letter to a nocturnal city filled with mystery, longing, and beauty; when it looks that there is no way back from darkness, they manage to find it via such unforgettable hits as Betty Blue or Dance D'Amour, while velvety voice of frontmen Jyrki 69 keeps melting the burning hearts of his admirers; recent German black vinyl edition comes with a pro-printed lyric insert as well as rare additional You're Lost Little Girl cut and two remixes of album tracks
