Tombs, Crowns and Thrones is an essential double disc compilation that collects all hard to get, previously unreleased or alternative versions by charismatic true Norwegian black metal entity, nailed up until that point, spanning from 1997 up to two brand new songs, written exclusively for this occasion, that open up the proceedings on especially high emotional level; from those eighteen remaining tracks, contributions of Niklas Kvarforth and Nocturno Culto shall be mentioned, plus cover tracks of Emperor, GG Allin, Burzum, Von and Destruction contribute to diversify highly intense agenda, and it is more than curious to hear some essential tracks of Taake from another angle too, on top of that enriched by 28 page booklet that complements this extensive package, wrapped in additional slipcase
