this had to happen - longtime frontman and defining symbol of deep death metal vocals, Frank Mullen lends his voice only to the re-recorded 1993's track Ignorant Deprivation, stepping into retirement and handing over the honorable position to Ricky Myers, while the remaining four musicians stay together for a second album in a row, ensuring continuity, professionalism, and virtually all the strengths associated with their trademark stone-heavy, intense, and dynamic sound: musical formula remains exemplary, built on clearly recognizable riffs constantly paired with frequent tempo changes and technical solos, while Ricky quickly adopts grim stylistic approach, adding his own meaty nuances and integrating seamlessly into the collective with a low, dense, and aggressive manners that dynamically follows drum and guitar accents, injecting the record with fresh energy while preserving merciless and uncompromising identity; German strictly limited gold vinyl edition comes with a pro-printed lyric insert
