been through fire, napalm and water, Sodom are certainly not of a kind to churn out best-of compilations without any purpose, and as the title suggests, this special release marks important anniversary of their activity - four decades of rough and intense sound, at times wildly unhinged, hellish and rousing, delivered by still fresh updated line-up that does not renounce traditional dark and heavy direction; thus the idea to re-record one track from every single album of a rich catalog results in a massive seventy minute long anniversary longplay, where tracks selected are often lesser-known, somewhat forgotten, yet no less impressive or important to their evolution, more than once revealing subtle, earlier unheard details, making this a true treasure trove of historical value for devoted die-hard fans; three panel digipak edition comes with twenty four page booklet and additional two-sided poster
