always forward-thinking and innovative, unafraid to push the envelope of sickness and disgust a bit further behind the so-called artistic limits, Kvarforth and his motley crew deliver another masterpiece of an album [2009] with Hymns of Lament, which is real harsh and radical experience at one point, and crushing down therapy with minimalist moaning at another - it sounds as a natural sequel to Halmstad glory, which is quite a task at least to match, yet they find subtle eyebrow-raising means to refresh and persuade, regardless of certain components that reflect the past, and as usual, lyrically Swedish psychos discuss the most awkward topics inspired by gray daily existence, adopting their brilliant songwriting to it, triumphing with top-notch execution; recent French gatefold sleeve double bronze 180g vinyl edition is limited to 500 units
