SHINING

Artist Origin: SWE
Style: dark melancholic depressive metal/rock

...and lots of boys gonna love it, as this special release of Swedish provocateurs, initially available as four track mini album [2012], featuring unpredictable and diverse cover songs by Katatonia, Kent, Imperiet and Poets of the Fall [some of bands you never heard about before, right?], is now expanded by four more renditions once written by Placebo, The Coffinshakers, Marilyn Manson and Rammstein, obviously collected from more recent sessions, making the whole look like a full grain release of covers; it shows the influences and inspirations of Niklas Kvarforth during the years and marks his band trying quite a few new areas as well, a bit further away from extreme metal and closer to dark melancholic folk/acoustic rock and industrial; black vinyl edition with completely new design and Niklas' liner notes is limited to 200 units
