nine tracks of the latest studio album delve into duality of human nature, contrasting instinctive, primal urges with the modern, civilized world - such ambiguous tension is also reflected in the music, which, impressively experimental even by acclaimed dark metal titans, juxtaposes acoustic instrument textures and emphasized Middle Eastern motifs with unexpected tempo shifts, subtly integrating orchestral ideas to give these compositions not only grandeur but also a more intimate, introspective tone, while complex arrangements, where symphonic sections and heavy guitars merge organically, maintain high creative standard and at the same time offer a refreshed, modern interpretation of peculiar Hellenic sound; German strictly limited gatefold sleeve double black vinyl edition comes with a pro-printed twelve page LP sized booklet and three additional orchestral tracks on side D
