absolutely right was to pair these two once separately released recordings - 1983's longplay debut and six track mini album [1984] that followed soon enough, as it was an outcome of the same effort, nailed at a cult Morrisound Studio in Tampa far before the hype of extreme recordings done there, yet the most important thing is the whole process has taken them mere twenty four hours, what is hard to believe indeed, especially having in mind catchy, consistent results, epitomizing the early era of American heavy/power metal, including even elements of then momentum-catching speed/thrash, thus finding a golden mean in the entire specter of metal music; rumours about compositional genius have started to spread, while the contents are still considered to be one of the most significant in this historical band's career; recent digipak edition comes with a remastered sound, liner notes by vocalist Jon Oliva in the booklet, and acoustic version of In The Dream tracked in 2010
