anniversary tenth studio release from the hard-hitting Swedes continues exploring fronts of the World War I, recounting the decisive events of 1918, devastation of Verdun and Somme, recalling lesser-known heroes and the cost of futile offensives, with the music maintaining a broad scope and theatrical approach, richly enhanced by orchestrations, choral elements, and narrative lines that create strong dramatic impression, while still preserving solid guitar-driven foundation, clear rhythmic structures, and trademark cohesive choruses, allowing complex historical material to be conveyed with striking impact, where recognizable vocal delivery reinforces the sense of unity and turns this epic into a coherent musical chronicle of war that was meant to end all wars, yet left Europe in even deeper chaos
