Release Year: 2023
Artist Origin: SWE
Style: obscure menacing death doom metal

sixth longplay by veterans of traditional roaring doom/death metal [2003] marks a clear shift from straightforward and ferocious approach toward more atmospheric yet still riff-driven direction, built on a creeping mid-tempo pace with energetic bursts of speed ups, while rough, subterranean vocals loom like dark apocalyptic cloud over sound that is heavy yet organic, and although quite lengthy compositions sometimes lack a clear climax, tracks such as Eyes of Kali and The Venom reveal their strongest traits, uniting bleak atmosphere, occult topics, and barrage of dense guitar arrangements into distinctive, not always easily digestible yet certainly rewarding experience; recent Dutch digipak edition with a remastered sound and new design marks two decades since the original release
