for the recordings of their sophomore longplay [1997], considered by fans the most memorable in entire discography, Sarpsborg's black metal purveyors have involved none other but Shagrath of rapidly growing Dimmu Borgir to perform all keyboard parts, and it has significantly changed their sound - not really to become another synth-driven band, but it helped to develop the subtle angles of sharp yet bombastic sound, enriching predominantly abrasive, angst-driven and dynamic music, setting up incredibly cinematic, mysterious atmosphere that brings to mind early records of Gehenna as well, while Thyme's raspy tone remains a copybook example of true Norwegian black metal voice; long time out of print, recent Norwegian edition comes with authentic design
