legendary debut longplay [1986] by iconic New York crew of seminal thrash metal / crossover with infamous Dan Lilker [Brutal Truth] on bass played a significant role in the development of rebellious genre, influencing many bands that followed, brimming with radical, aggressive, mind-melting and edge-walking music, featuring characteristically short, high-energy numbers with painfully sarcastic and openly to the point lyrics, impetuously roaring in a spontaneous, unstoppable flow, thanks to the guttural screams of John Connelly, where every riff hits like a rusted hammer, while street-level nihilism, black humor, and chaotic energy turn the music into an essential manifesto of revolt, tearing down conventional standards; recent European re-issue comes with a remastered sound, six track follow-up mini album [1987] and five live songs, recorded in 1989 in London, earlier featured on Live at The Hammersmith Odeon edition, while twenty page booklet includes liner notes and shitload of vintage photos
