with old logo back on the front cover first since 1995, and Mike Galiatsos again with the band after two decades of his absence it is quite obvious to witness the grand return of their classic atmospheric death metal sound as well - regardless that couple of previous longplays were already strong and dark enough, this time music breathes with renewed conviction, combining crushing mid-tempo riffs, melodic tremolos and haunting choirs with a dense, cinematic layering of synths, creating an immersive tension between celestial beauty and morbid despair, where Efthimis' commanding vocals shift from solemn chanting to furious growls, reaffirming Nightfall's timeless mastery of emotional intensity and melodic darkness, where drumming of Fotis Benardo also adds thunderous precision and relentless drive, elevating epic momentum of these ten cuts; first press digipak version comes with twenty page booklet
