each one of the first three MLP releases by MDB has left a significant mark within atmospheric death/doom metal evolution: the first one [1991] has immediately prompted them into the limelight of premier league, since the sorrowful music was too unique to be ignored; 1993's 12" record was not blindly following emphatically tragic paradigm of earliest songs, tasting quite experimental contents in certain parts along the traditional heavy doom; and finally 1994's single sounded epic due to exceptionally rigid title track, clinging to the roots yet proving once again that Brits can build up an expressive, visual and very personal story with each single song; this latest compilation edition with a remastered sound masterfully sums up the era, also adding title track of rare The Sexuality of Bereavement 7"EP [1994] and two ferocious numbers from the initial Towards The Sinister demo [1991], totally clocking in 75 minutes of grandiloquent doom
