at the time of recording this fifth and final opus, much underrated obscure Swedish horde has been split already [now they are luckily active again], but what has been tracked on these eight merciless compositions plus a stunning rendition of At The Gates classic Neverwhere is worth a mention and attention due to sharp grip on classic austere Scandinavian extremity, backed up by darker and heavier sound [courtesy by Necromorbus Studio] to a point where death metal also gets fully involved, yet their abrasive, ominous approach is different from anyone else you might think of, with furious layers of guitars, oppressive rhythms and cold-sounding melodic motifs merging into a distinctive, unpredictable and atmospherically charged architecture of grimness
