it has been fifteen fucking years without these Swedish black metal rebels, and frankly not much people have been missing this once mighty horde, but when they are back it is quite compulsory to sink a teeth in and grasp why this return is happening and what they have on offer: it is quite obvious to expect a certain return to their heyday sound, famous for piercing infernal harmonies with precise smooth sound, but music is not just about the old school, as production-wise we hear a certain modern approach and guitar soloing definitely borrows something from traditional metal; is it an inch lighter version of Dissection? you may say so but do not forget an angered aspect and massive punch of more intense songs; French first press digipak edition comes with twelve page booklet
