expect the unexpected - genius Floridian death metal victors, vastly inspired by Azagthoth's esoteric visions, continue to surprise after twenty years of holding the banner of ferocious metal high, presenting as much eclecticism as possible on their eighth studio longplay, which is one of a kind with an immense, primal rage and unerring precision, seeking the new dimensions of extremity through unconventional structures and punishing aggression within intense riotous death metal frame, where Pete Sandoval's rhythmic input is especially important - certain parts do sound quite avant-garde, chaotic and spontaneous with dissonant riffs and frenetic drumming involved, but it is a part of this horror sonic concept, adding extra layers of ferocity and unpredictability
