KEEP OF KALESSIN

Release Year: 2025
Artist Origin: NOR
Style: dramatic intense harmonious black metal

unafraid of yet-unexplored challenges and having successfully flirted with the Eurovision format, undoubtedly provoking unprecedented scorn from the black metal underground, Kalessins simply prove their multifaceted creative talent, not retreating an inch from the core objective and returning with a downright crushing record [2010] of extreme, harmonious, and epic intensity, adding an extra dimension to already unique progressive sound that far surpasses the usual boundaries of coarse black/death metal, masterfully controlling the mood, where meticulously arranged compositions, dynamic guitar textures, and purposefully shifting vocals sustain a convincing sense of drama, while the dragon concept is not merely a cover decoration but consistently developed narrative, giving this epic storytelling a clear thematic direction; recent French gatefold sleeve double black and white marbled lime green vinyl edition is limited to 300 units
