the golden hour of charismatic forefathers of New York scene strikes with their unbelievably ferocious fourth full-length [2000], preserving fundamentally intense, technically prominent, darkened, demonic and highly antichristian death metal formula intact: examining this work further, multiple layers of depth reveal themselves like scales falling from the sinner's eyes - infernal harmony and subtle emotion lurking in the depths are both organically present, while fundamental evil within intricate song structures and dissonant riffs just tanks into the world of the living, and on top of that highly personal and metaphorical lyrics are an ideal tool to frighten the prude, manifesting the strongest via such standout tracks like Higher Coward, Father, You're Not a Father, and the grandiose eight minute title track; recent German heavy cardboard sleeve black 180g vinyl edition comes with analog sound mastering, pro-printed lyric insert and two-sided 60x60 cm artwork poster
