HALLOWS EVE

Release Year: 2021
Artist Origin: USA
Style: catchy intense speed thrash metal

the opening anthemic title track and its reprise at the end remain the most recognizable trademark of US entity, rounding up this sophomore longplay [1986] accomplished fast after their debut, so the improvement on certain details as well as diversity of songs is pretty unexpected: at the same time the whole effort sounds much more smooth around the edges, taking a bit the ferocity of first recording off with added elements of riff-oriented heavy/power metal, but once the band intensifies the pressure, there is no force to stop this dangerous hurricane, further reinforced by memorable choruses, vigorous lead guitar passages, and energy unwilling to bow to compromise; recent German bronze vinyl edition with an extra poster and pro-printed lyric insert, also featuring liner notes by bass player Tommy Stewart, is machine-numbered to 300 units, copy #259
