FUNERALIUM

Release Year: 2021
Artist Origin: FRA
Style: desperate oppressive funeral doom metal

recorded during the Pandemic, revealing a concept about humanity's death and liberation of Earth, the latest summoning in four parts by fearsome French crew is a dense, methodical exploration of funeral doom that balances slow, grinding riffs with moments of eerie, oppressive atmosphere, where the weight of each note feels as much a physical burden as an emotional one, adding layers of dissonant melancholy over and over again, staying firmly entrenched in an unwavering, nearly suffocating sound, maintaining a steady heaviness, while deep and cavernous vocals carve through the vast spaces of consistent sound, where emotional weight remains more constant throughout, offering a starker, more single-minded study of despair; authentic Japanese foldout digisleeve edition comes with sixteen page booklet and OBI strip
