EXHORDER

Release Year: 2021
Artist Origin: USA
Style: fast energetic groovy thrash metal

the furious quartet from New Orleans was already making history while Pantera were only beginning their transformation into what they would later become, inspired in part by Exhorder's explosive music, which creatively fused thrash aggression and fury with confrontational, intensely rhythmic hardcore emotion, never crossing the delicate line that would make anyone question their metal convictions - not without reason considered legendary, this eight-track debut full-length [1990] is packed with displays of raw force, chopping riffs, and uncontrollable intensity, while the harsh voice of Kyle Thomas further amplifies destructive mood, accompanied by defiantly provocative lyrics and, needless to say, cover artwork concept itself, igniting already dangerously overheated American extreme metal scene; recent Dutch machine-numbered marbled clear/black 180g vinyl edition with a pro-printed lyric insert is limited to 1500 units, copy #425
