any Darkthrone fan awakened from sleep would immediately retell the Goatlord story, how it was buried under the carpet in 1991 and resurrected in 1996, but here you are with one more surprise sequel: its raw primeval instrumental version with completely different track titles was recently taken from Fenriz’s original tape source and transferred plus mastered anew by Patrick Engel at Temple of Disharmony studio, so that those obscure moments of evocative technical death metal representing the pinnacle of the four-piece’s pre-black metal era could reveal what a huge potential these guys had in that ferocious metal field, following up the Soulside Journey paradigm with a twist, while Zbigniew Bielak's artwork adds up in rounding up a surreal atmosphere
