highly anticipated and much praised mysterious dark black metal entity is back with the third 79 minutes long album [2008], inviting to join their apocalyptic journey through the deepest corners of the cosmos - epic, majestic, atmospheric, yet also desperate, chaotic and minimalist opus brims also with certain ambient motives, which this time become an essential part of the construction, merging with dense guitar textures and deep, almost mechanical drum rhythms, creating the impression that universe is collapsing under its own weight; this record stands out for its monumental scale and subtle sound architecture, where every layer of noise and echoing vocals contribute to a claustrophobic yet transcendent vibe, in which time and space dissolve, and dissonance becomes the foundation of the aesthetic, defining their ability to merge nihilistic coldness with hypnotic beauty; first time ever - French gatefold sleeve double black vinyl edition with an embossed cover is limited to 2100 units
