this highly acclaimed "best of" compilation was intended to be released back in 1999 to commemorate then defunct British extreme metal legend, but was shelved due to drummer Ken Owen suffering from a brain haemorrhage - it was finally out only five years later, featuring thirteen timeless cuts from all the glorious releases in a chronological order that follows the evolution of characteristic poignant sound, gaining more and more refined structure and technical prowess with each next recording, literally changing the heavy underground in few different ways both musically and lyrically; on top of that, rare BBC Radio 1 recordings from two John Peel Show sessions are included, happened in late 1988 and early 1990, featuring four tracks each, while booklet reveals an extensive interview with Ken, conducted in 2004, along the shitload of authentic vintage pictures, flyers and other memorabilia
