Artist Origin: SWE
Style: classic dark epic doom metal

seminal fourth longplay opus [1989] by the legendary icons of monumental epic metal is also the last studio recording with classic line-up, featuring a remarkably crisper, crystalized sound, ultra profound, dirge-paced, doom-laden riffs that crush into pieces the remains of hope of the human race, let alone the traditionally impressive and challenging operatic vocals by Messiah Marcolin, who sounds more and more mature with each new studio visit - heavy music world would be different without such glorious anthems as Under The Oak, Dark Reflections or seven-part instrumental Into The Unfathomed Tower, that remain forever in minds of doom worshipers, making totally exceptional music not only a genre classic, but also an unshakable authority for an entire era; British re-issue comes with a remastered sound and bonus CD, including five demo versions of album tracks, recorded by previous incarnation of the band in as early as 1985, twenty minute interview conducted in 2001, and Dark Reflections video
