BLOOD INCANTATION

Release Year: 2024
Artist Origin: USA
Style: twisted dynamic atmospheric death metal

described as a journey through states and spaces of world-building, with intense metal becoming just one of means of expression, this latest academic statement from increasingly unpredictable American crew consistently develops the direction set by earlier material, boldly employing ambient, cosmic electronics, and progressive rock textures that function not as background interludes but as integral pieces of compositional puzzle, allowing music to move freely between massive, meticulously constructed death metal passages and hypnotic, time-dissolving transitions inspired by seventies' psychedelic currents, intuitive force of the classic Morbid Angel era, and existential themes, with riff aggression repeatedly and deliberately giving way to atmosphere and idea, ultimately shaping an ambitious, conceptual record intended for immersive listening rather than immediate impact, divided into two parts, The Stargate and The Message; European three panel digipak edition
