AUTOPSY

Release Year: 2020
Artist Origin: USA
Style: sick savage death metal live

one of the last pre-pandemic live shows in history took place at Reggie's Rock Club in the Illinois capital on March 7th 2020, where an iconic death metal legend ignited a sick party, determined to hammer out thier first official live album - for this occasion only few cuts from later era were played, alongside the then-unreleased new cut Maggots in The Mirror, while everything else consists of cult early material, mostly classics from the first two full-lengths, genre-defining songs that drive die-hard fans insane and make the rest of wild death metal devotees nod in approval while raising their horns; since Autopsy’s live appearances are not that frequent, this release is a perfect opportunity to experience the stench of rotting flesh and decaying bones from your own comfort zone, especially when dead serious effort was put into the sound quality, convincingly capturing how universal evil mutates on stage; UK edition comes with an OBI strip
