Release Year: 2011
Artist Origin: CAN
Style: energetic infectious heavy speed metal

classic fifth full-length album [1988] by the patriarchs of traditional heavy metal sounds highly ambitious, wild, and dynamic, where nine tracks are loaded with energy, passion, and a sense of menace, not shying away from fundamental thrash elements too, thus forging essentially valuable and memorable riffs; the record impresses with its simple, sincere approach to metal - there is no artificial gloss here, only a sound breathing sweat and sparks: Lips’ vocals are full of charisma, while lyrics revolve around strength, rebellion, and an undying faith in the spirit of rock, cementing them as the most enduring bastion of Canadian metal and proving that magic of music lies in sincerity rather than in modern tricks or trend-following; recent limited German dark green 180g vinyl edition
