ALICE IN CHAINS

Release Year: 1994
Artist Origin: USA
Style: inspiring dynamic alternative grunge rock

half an hour long Jar of Flies mini album [1994] sounds like a separate world, safely distanced from the rest catalogue by phenomenal grunge entity - its connecting emotional link is Would? track from the sophomore full-length, while the recording in question reached number one on the Billboard 200 United States album chart, actually hiding a full spectrum of human emotions, where hypnotizing music and mesmerizing vocals erase the grasp of reality; on the other hand, Sap [1992] is a somber and calming five track acoustic EP, facing another, alternative side of AIC genius, bursting with artistic freedom and depth, also featuring Chris Cornell [Soundgarden] on guest vocals; this special double disc edition combines both exceptional sessions for an exclusively touching experience
