Release Year: 2011
Artist Origin: SCO
Style: loud folk pirate heavy metal
if two first albums by Scots can be considered a youthful prank, rebellious hubbub, riding a well caught wave, then third successful full-length release in a row is not a coincidence anymore, but regular ability to write loud, frantic, and insanely memorable material, where infectious choruses, explosive guitar bursts and cinematic flair abound, turning every track into a distinctive adventure, when you just cannot get angry even if easy going tunes is not your priority, or pirate topics cause apathetic yawn - specific tone of Christopher's voice hardly matches the contents of some in-depth, more intense and epic compositions, yet emotionally it is much more varied and solid recording in evolution of this ambitious crew, done in a way different direction than common Running Wild fan usually imagines
