on this latest so far full-length release, seasoned black metal horde returns to a stricter, more cohesive and aggressive approach, focusing on mystical, immersive atmosphere and poignant expression while retaining elements of thrash-oriented riffing that are naturally woven into unified sonic landscape, allowing the music sound purposeful and confident without losing its raw energy, pulsing with striking intensity and creating powerful impression from the very first chords, with Ash of Ages serving as a key entry point that reveals the essence of this recording through a combination of speed, bleak mood and ritualistic feeling, while lyrics draw on primordial force, instinct and poetic symbolism, inviting the listener to descend into a wild, dominant and inward exploration of darkness; French gatefold sleeve double crystal clear 45rpm vinyl edition with a pro-printed four page lyric insert is strictly limited to 700 units
