TESTAMENT

Release Year: 2008
Artist Origin: USA
Style: relentless inflaming energetic thrash metal

nine years since the last studio album, legendary thrash metal disciples return with a plain ferocious yet quite harmonious and ear-catching set of fittingly titled opus: Chuck Billy's winning battle with cancer inspired most of the group's original line-up to reconvene, while drum throne is occupied by relentless Forbidden and Slayer genius Paul Bostaph, showcasing remarkably sharp, highly dynamic performance; polished by Andy Sneap, this impressive recording is arguably one of the toughest sounding Testament moments to date, where crushing riffs, epic choruses, and rich, modern sound intertwine, giving these eleven tracks not only brutal power but also memorable, compelling emotional weight; limited mediabook edition comes with bonus DVD, featuring Making of documentary and photo gallery
