Testament were back with their fourth studio full-length [1990] in no time to coincide with an important tour ahead, recognized as a solid force of pure intense metal worldwide, thus this ten track offer has got a richer and more precise production, where progressive influences of Alex Skolnick bring more diversity aiming to level up technicality and intricacy of performance too, which was far from very common practise in extreme metal scene of the era, while tight sing-along choruses take place along the trademarked, essential Bay Area thrash tactics; the result is simply monumental ten tracker with emotive and catchy as hell vocal delivery by Chuck Billy, and there is not a single song that the fans could ever forget, including at least one mandatory thrash ballad they are so good at making; recent Dutch black 180g vinyl pressing for audiophiles comes with authentic layout of the sleeve and pro-printed lyric insert
