the legend says it that Peter Tägtgren believed in the success of Susperia so strongly that he produced the album for free at his Abyss Studio - it was quite a quick return, one year after the debut, but difference between them releases is evident: by this time the band has fully crystalized their direction and achieved the spot they felt real comfortable, making the songs even sharper when it comes to rhythm, and more harmonious when it comes to guitar parts, let alone the trademark Athera's voice who has borrowed some tricks from Chuck Billy but gained a personal recognizable raspy grunt nonetheless, which is obviously his own, so eventually these ten songs have been a huge leap forward, bringing them a bunch of new opportunities; authentic German edition
