at the dawn of their career, still with just a few albums out, every new appearance of Chris Barnes' gang was quite enthusiastically met by hungry audiences - before recording the third studio longplay [1999] the band was reinforced with ex.Massacre six-string master Steve Swanson, quickly turning into an important creative part of the psycho crew, while their music has got a more dynamic, filthy and dangerous approach; Victim of The Paranoid is certainly the most exceptional among these eleven tunes, and not just because of the video that everyone with extreme taste has checked at least once in life - the rest of chunky, meaty and raw repertoire is none the less impressive, bashing with uncompromising grooves, primitive aggression, streetwise attitude, and crushing simplicity that defined SFU's early identity; recent German black 180g vinyl edition comes with pro-printed lyric insert, extra poster plus bonus Iron Maiden and Thin Lizzy covers on side B
