Born Loser is a perfect title for the album like this, attaining something close to sonic respectability, where songs are defined by their imagination first of all: main focus primarily falls on guitar parts, heavy-weighted infectious riffs, soaring solos and even occasional bluesy licks - this kind of music might be softer in delivery and quite obnoxious for black metal diehards, yet it obsesses obscure-minded souls nonetheless, maintaining Niklas Kvarforth's signature vocal style, but also including more varied techniques like spoken word sections and cleaner lines, also featuring guest appearance by Peter Bjärgö [Arcana], Christopher Amott [ex.Arch Enemy] and Erik Danielsson [Watain]
