Description

Release Year: 2022
Artist Origin: USA
Style: crazy psychotic death grind metal

only the fifth full-length [2011] by the cult, line-up stable American three-piece over a quarter century of existence does not mean a result of questionable value - on the contrary, shifting away from contemporary serial killer topics toward classic real and fictional, myth-shrouded, remorseless villains, the ghastly musicians enrich their arsenal with literary accents of grim tales; as for the music itself, confrontational direction remains recognizable, yet heavier, more cohesive and less eccentric, making use of dynamics and tempo changes while retaining Corporate Death's signature vocal twists, thereby reinforcing a bleak, psychopathic atmosphere and presenting this opus as a unified, gloomy narrative rather than a collection of separate songs; recent German edition comes with Venom Countess Bathory cover and additional The Big Bad Wolf cut
