JUDAS ISCARIOT

Thy Dying Light CD

Artist:	JUDAS ISCARIOT
Label:	Moribund

Description

Release Year: 2021
Artist Origin: USA
Style: ominous harsh atmospheric black metal

unlike the obscure and bleak debut, Akhenaten's sophomore full-length [1996] reveals much more intense and atmospheric façade of kult grim black metal, eventually turning into timeless underground masterpiece: better focused drumming, much more memorable riffs, more harmony and tightness result in effectively updated sound picture, while the production maintains its unique rawness to crush the unbelievers, conveying messages of existential despair, spiritual rebellion, and cold devotion to darkness, where chaotic fury and ominous transcendence merge into a pure uncompromising black metal manifesto; recent re-issue comes with modified layout, expanded with lyrics and propaganda booklet, as well as enhanced video content in addition capturing JI live in 1999, US import
