Description

Release Year: 2021
Artist Origin: FIN
Style: hypnotizing mystical psychedelic neofolk rock

mysterious occult psychedelic neofolk/rock project, founded by Englishman Mat "Kvohst" McNerney [ex.Code] with other musicians from Tampere, after moving to Finland in 2009, embodies utterly instinctive drive to avoid one-dimensional creativity and unleash the archetypal, organic force buried deep within the subconscious: strangely hypnotic yet deeply compelling debut [2011] is brimming with memorable melodies and vocal magic, conjuring mysterious visions and evocative thoughts while blending quirky, adventurous passages and serious approach in a distinctly British manner; cover artwork was done by Albert Witchfinder [ex.Reverend Bizarre], while guest appearances include Andrew "Aort" McIvor from Code, playing a significant role in songwriting process, and Carl-Michael Eide from Ved Buens Ende; recent Finnish digipak edition with authentic design marks tenth anniversary of the album
