returning after a decade of silence, revitalized Parisian black metal lunatics continue along their established trajectory, merging raw aggression of the debut with compositional complexity of later recordings - new cuts delve particularly deep into labyrinthine dissonance, atonal guitar cacophony, and unpredictable structural shifts, as familiar bursts of speed give way to a suffocating, convoluted, and persistently unsettling sonic expression; deliberately eschewing memorable melodies and conventional extremity, fiery record embraces more disorienting and uncompromising approach, where the most significant change comes in vocal department, with Dutchman RSDX [ex.Funeral Winds] taking over, lending music harsher, more traditionally rooted edge, while former frontman Meyhnach returns for the closing track, symbolically bridging distinct eras of their evolution into a cohesive, bleak, and defiant opus; opus; French gatefold sleeve black-marbled silver vinyl edition with a pro-printed double-sided lyric insert is limited to 600 units
