Description

Release Year: 2017
Artist Origin: NOR
Style: epic dynamic viking black metal

only one year after a monumental, game-changing Eld opus, Norwegian viking metal stalwarts renew their line-up once again by adding the notorious drummer Dirge Rep [ex. Gehenna, Orcustus] and young perspective guitar player Roy Kronheim, and the four-piece line-up formula brings in yet unheard dynamics and vitality into their time-tested chilling, menacing sound - regardless that the band later declared Vengeance in Blood to be their least favourite record [1998], thus shamefully underrating it, nine grim yet majestic cuts kick the arses with relentless ardor and berserk energy, sending into pagan/black metal catharsis even more than twenty years past its original release; recent gatefold sleeve golden/black splatter 180g vinyl edition with authentic layout is limited to 700 units
