EDGE OF SANITY

Release Year: 2024
Artist Origin: SWE
Style: innovative aggressive menacing death metal

absolute cult of aggressive yet innovative Swedish death metal, third full-length [1993] of Dan Swanö and his standards-escaping crew stands out as a true milestone of the nineties - using huge creative potential, the stylistic multi-dimensionalism of this glorious band has been refined and flattened around the edges, still very audible on previous Unorthodox opus, bravely built on contrasts with a great effect; melodic sections became even more dreamier and penetrating, while abrasive vocals and roaring rhythmics sported forth the rough expression and drama this entity has been known for from the very start - they even managed to effectively cover the monumental Manowar Blood of My Enemies, and the list of surprises is far from ending; recent German black 180g vinyl edition comes with a pro-printed lyric insert and sound remastered by Dan Swanö
