Artist Origin: SWE
Style: intense atmospheric infernal black metal

sophomore full-length [1997] by highly influential atmospheric devilish black metal side-project of Anders "Blackheim" Nyström [Katatonia, Bloodbath] falls under the same ferocious Scandinavian direction with Marduk and Dissection worth burning and infernal determination, yet involves exceptionally epic grandeur and neosymphonic moments, opening up hypnotic vicious beauty of highly complex yet spiritual experience, where fantasy intertwines with increasingly liberated experimentation, unexpected arrangement choices and colder, denser layers of sound, further expanding the artist's creative vision; part of drum programing and guest vocals were provided by Dan Swanö of Edge of Sanity fame, who also produced the whole thingie; recent British jewel case edition comes with dark yellow logo on cover
