DEVIN TOWNSEND
Ziltoid The Omniscient CD
| Artist: | DEVIN TOWNSEND |
| Label: | Inside Out / Century Media |
Release Year: 2012
Artist Origin: CAN
Style: expressive harmonious progressive atmospheric metal
absolutely entertaining and insanely amusing craziness rules this addictive longplay [2007] of cosmic proportions, courtesy by the mad metal scientist Devin Townsend and his sci-fi-transgalactic-whatever creature named Ziltoid: inventive music is anything but not alien noise though [if they make any noises at all that is] - rather well crafted, harmonious, progressive and atmospheric metal with unexpected turns yet extremely catchy feeling the man is perfectly known for, and it is far from the the lightest episode of the project either, partly reflecting on Strapping Young Lad times, while the satirical, comic book-worth story knocks all the right buttons to make one good and damn well-aimed laugh of the whole human race!
